Pre-Session
When is the best age for a baby session?
Once your little one can sit up unaided — usually 6–9 months. Personalities really shine at this stage. I also photograph babies up to 2 years.
How far in advance should I book?
A few weeks ahead is ideal, especially around the sitter window (6–9 months). I’ll always try to fit in last-minute enquiries where I can.
Where are sessions held?
In my cosy home studio in Rugby, Warwickshire. It’s calm, baby-friendly, and styled simply so your baby is always the focus.
What should my baby wear?
Soft, neutral tones work best. I have a small selection of simple baby outfits, or bring favourites from home. Avoid big logos and bright patterns.
Can parents and siblings be included?
Yes — family photos are included. We’ll capture a mix of baby-only images and gentle, natural family portraits.
During the Session
How long does a session take?
Around 1–1.5 hours. There’s time for breaks, cuddles and a feed if needed — we go at baby’s pace.
What is your style of photography?
Simple, natural, timeless. Soft light, gentle colours, minimal props. I guide lightly with prompts — little ones lead the way.
What if my baby is unsettled on the day?
Totally fine. We pause for a feed or a cuddle and continue when they’re ready. The studio is relaxed and baby-led.
Do I need to bring anything?
Nappies, snacks, milk/water, and a favourite comfort item. If you have a special blanket or heirloom piece, bring it along.
Can we include a few different outfits?
Yes — 1–2 outfit changes work well without disrupting the flow. Keep everything soft and comfortable.
After the Session
When will we receive the images?
Your preview/first-stage gallery is typically ready within 1–2 weeks. I’ll email a private gallery link.
How many images are included?
Depends on your package. “Digital Memories” includes 20 edited digitals. “Treasured Collection” includes 20 edited digitals + 20 matching prints and access to the full first-stage gallery (minimum 50 images with an initial edit) as a digital download.
Can we purchase extra images or prints?
Yes — extra digitals are £15 each and a high-resolution printed photo album is £100 each. The Treasured Collection includes a 20x20" framed wall art with 9 images.
How are images delivered?
Via a private online gallery for downloading high-resolution files. Prints and wall art are prepared and packaged with care.
Do you keep a backup of our photos?
I recommend downloading and backing up your images once delivered. I keep backups for a period, but your own copy is the safest long-term option.
